Golestan Kids Featured in Oakland Tribune

PARSA Community Foundation is delighted to announce that Golestan Kids has been featured on the front page of the Oakland Tribune today. Golestan Kids is a Persian-language immersion preschool and after-school program based in Berkeley, California. They aim to foster a community of confident and compassionate children who care for and are proud of their Iranian heritage.

In 2007, PARSA CF made a grant to the school to improve its facilities, expand its student body, and promote it as an established program for families with children that have an interest in Iran, its language, culture and history. PARSA Community Foundation makes grants to promising models such as Golestan Kids that can serve as an inspiration to others in Iranian-American community.
