CNP is a Non-political and Non-religious organization.
The CNP shall be the primary event for showcasing the contributions of Persian Civilization to: humanity, art, literature and science for the appreciation of the public at large.
Chicago Nowruz Parade (CNP) is an Illinois Not-For-Profit corporation. The principal purpose of this organization shall be cultural education and awareness by facilitation and conduct of a public parade (celebration) on or about the time of vernal (spring) equinox; a Persian Tradition which is known to be observed by many nations and is a registry of UNESCO as “the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”. The CNP shall be the primary event for showcasing the contributions of Persian Civilization to: humanity, art, literature and science for the appreciation of the public at large. CNP aims to be a truly Green and ecologically friendly parade by utilizing horse drawn carriages, bike floats and hybrid vehicles to insure the least pollution. | |
