Young Persian Professionals host PARSA CF Workshop in San Francsico

The Young Persian Professionals (YPP) of the Bay Area hosted a PARSA Community Foundation workshop in San Francisco on November 23, 2008. The workshop was attended by over forty participants and the event focused on finding ways to encourage public service and volunteerism among Iranian-Americans. San Francisco Supervisor Ross Mirakarimi provided the opening remarks.

YPP's mission is to bring together Persians in the Bay Area through business events, volunteer projects, cultural and social activities and building business and social networks. Through providing these opportunities, YPP serves as a valuable resource to Iranian-Americans searching for ways to make a positive difference in their community. PARSA Community Foundation looks forward to partnering with YPP in the coming months to organize service projects around the Bay Area.
