In the spring of 2000 Mrs. Azadeh Hariri Founded the Iranian Youth Scholarship under the umbrella of the Iranian Federated Women’s Club (IFWC). This fund was formed with the vision of starting a meaningful scholarship program for Iranian American students in the United States. Our goals were driven with the view of making sure the second generation of Iranians growing up in the US, not forget Iran, and be proud of their Iranian heritage. We firmly believe that the future of the Iranian community is in the hands of the young generation. If we support our best and brightest students today, tomorrow when they are in decision-making positions, their influence will affect millions of Iranians around the world. |
Iranian School of San Diego

The Iranian School of San Diego (ISSD) was established in 1988 to serve the Iranian-American community in San Diego County. ISSD is an affiliate of the Persian Cultural Center, a non-profit organization. Its academic year consists of two semesters with approximately 210 students from various age groups. ISSD also teaches various aspects of the Iranian culture by upholing and celebrating cultural events. ISSD also have dance, theatre and music classs. |
