Every year, many Iranian scientists go to Iran for family visits without having an opportunity to interact with the universities there. Having thought about this issue and with the objective of promoting collaboration of Iranian academics living abroad with the scientific community in Iran, a group of us that are alumni of Iranian universities residing now in Canada, USA and Iran have established a non-profit organization, Knowledge Diffusion Network on December 2003. |

Founded in 1994, Mehrgan Foundation is a non-political, non-sectarian, organization dedicated to promoting Iranian heritage. Mehrgan Foundation was established as a non-profit organization 501 (C) (3) in state of California. It originally started by having monthly gatherings and then as the Persian community grew, so did the domain of Mehrgan’s activities. Now Mehrgan’s objective is to promote awareness, tolerance, peace and cultural integrity.
