Rouhollah Khaleghi Artistic Center

8316 Robey Ave.
Annandale Virginia 22003 Map it

RKAC was founded after the Rouhollah Khaleghi Orchestra (1984-1990) ceased to continue its activities due to lack of funds. We had been receiving many inquiries about the various aspects of the works of Rouhollah and Golnoush Khaleghi. Therefore, we felt that a website providing this information would be beneficial to the lovers of Persian music. We have also included information about other musicians and poets who have collaborated with the above named composers. We also like to operate as a platform to introduce worthy educational materials (CDs, books, music scores) of artists who work inside Iran, and due to political, financial or social difficulties are unable to offer their works to the Western world.

Society for Iranian Anthropology

81, B.D V.Auriol
Paris Il de France 75013 Map it

SIRA will be an international forum of academics, students and professionals, concerned not only with anthropology and all of its sub-fields, but also bringing together folklorists, theologians, art historians, historians and archaeologists. Through the creation of different online forums, we aim to facilitate contact between members, to enable them to share their skills, knowledge, experience and resources. Through the use of online forums, chat rooms and debates, it is hoped that SIRA will be able to encourage and promote discussion amongst participants. SIRA will be a network of individuals from various institutions. We thus hope to connect anthropologists and scholars who work on Iran itself, in addition to all of the countries where we can find the traces of Iranian Culture. We hope, moreover, with the help of non-Iranian academic institutions and scholars and their research facilities, to create a forum where students and young researcher may connect with the more established scientific community in the field.
